Be One of "The Fearless" this St Patrick's Day

This St Patrick’s Day, local independent brewery Trouble Brewing and beloved, best-selling Irish whiskey label Jameson are joining forces to throw an exclusive rooftop party at Circular Road, promising an energetic atmosphere filled with drinks, food, games and live music.

Partygoers can celebrate in true Irish fashion with the brand new Trouble Maker ($12) - an exclusive concoction that serves up a shot of Jameson Triple Distilled Irish Whiskey alongside a pint of Trouble Brewing’s Pilsner - as well as S$8 beers and whiskey, and S$10 wines, vodka and gin.

The combination of the Trouble Maker creates a unique flavour profile with the pairing of the heavier-bodied, slightly bitter pilsner and the lighter, sharper and sweeter whiskey.

Alongside a celebration of St Patrick’s Day, the party also signifies the beginning of a meaningful partnership between the two brands that hailed from similar beginnings.

Both the founders of Jameson and Trouble Brewing left their comfortable corporate jobs in pursuit of their passions. And so in the spirit of this risk-taking, the brands have launched ‘The Fearless’ campaign and Trouble Maker drink to celebrate those who aren’t afraid of being unconventional, and to inspire people to have courage and act boldly.

“Taking risks and being bold is in our nature, and we’re pumped to kick off this ‘fearless’ partnership with Jameson to further elevate Trouble Brewing’s offerings for consumers. Partnering with a brand like Jameson is true to our ethos and values, and through this joint campaign, we’re aiming to empower and encourage the risk-takers, the unconventional and the brave by providing them with a space to showcase their creativity,” Joseph Barratt, Founder & CEO of Trouble Brewing.

“Singapore is home to a vibrant craft beer scene, and we’re thrilled to partner with Trouble Brewing, a local brewery that has been making its mark on the industry. Staying true to our roots of taking risks and pushing boundaries, Trouble Brewing’s craft offerings mix brilliantly with Jameson whiskey, providing a distinct dimension that we wish to share with local folks one shot, one pint at a time,” Brendon Khoo, Speciality Brands Ambassador, Pernod Ricard Singapore.

Each Fearless event will also feature a distinct individual - from tattoo artists, street artists and DJs - providing them a platform to showcase their craft to the public. This kicks off with Slac Satu, Singapore’s pioneering graffiti artist, who will put on a live art performance at the St Patrick’s Day rooftop party.

Simply Good Pies

Beyond booze, you’ll be able to line your stomach with the mouth-watering Irish stew pie and Irish whiskey hot nuts from Simply Good Pies, while also being entertained with games of vertical beer bong.

The free-entry party also extends into an afterparty one level down at 79 After Dark with Irish band Broken Pokers. Delivering exciting and lively traditional Irish sets, the jolly tunes will have you wondering if you’re in a pub along the River Liffey.
